rejected ideas

 

           One of my poster ideas was to have the killer standing in a field with a shovel and headlights as the lighting to represent the killer hiding a body but decided against it as it was difficult to achieve with the time frame and to get someone with a car to help me.  

            I also rejected the draft that includes the body bag and police tape based on time and access to resources and replaced the idea with something more achievable that also focused more on the killer and his mask.

idea for documentary

              my documentary is going to be a true crime documentary which focus on a serial killer, whose signature  symbol is the mask he wears. So, I have decided to name the documentary in the shadow of a killer, and my tagline will be “inside a mind built for murder” . I made up this concept for my documentary as true crime is popular with the target audience as I went and asked some of my friends who fit the target audience, what documentary they would watch, and they all said true crime. My posters will largely focus on the killer and elements of his identity to demonstrate the documentaries focus and the key details of his crimes. For example, most of my posters will have the mask as the main element as it is his signature look, although my drafts don’t show this, that is because I didn’t have the mask on me to draw into the drafts.
